Profiles/Fact Sheets
If an owner or architect inquired as
to the capability of YOUR firm, who would you like to respond to that question?
We’re certain you can best market your firm and that is why the profile
program was initiated. Pertinent information on YOUR firm, provided by YOU, is
mailed to an architect or owner. When we take a call from a potential client
looking for a contractor, the AGC of PA staff sends a set of
Profile/Fact sheets and a Roster. The architect or owner can see first hand what
your capabilities and specialties are. Profiles are updated on a regular basis.
Public Relations
Perhaps the most compelling reason
for AGC of PA members to be interested in public relations is
the nature of today’s construction market. The public sector of the market
accounts for at least 40% of the AGC contractor’s total market. And
government, be it local, state or federal, is almost always involved in some way
within the 60% of the market that is private. Public attitudes shape projects
and influence rules and regulations governing all construction, and ultimately,
have a great deal to do with the success or failure of construction companies.
The goal of the PR committee is to
communicate to the public the capabilities and benefits associated with
"Building with the Best" – the members of the AGC of PA.
